Three Hundred Sixty Five Color Project

A few months ago I started a photo project that was based off taking a photo of a specific color everyday. I did this for a few months and then decided that I wanted to refresh the project. I have done a year long photo project before where my focus was simply on creating everyday. I really enjoyed this project and looking back it has become more of a visual diary of my life for that year. I decided that I wanted to do this again but wanted to add a twist to it. I wanted to make it focused on a color a day. I realized quickly that I was searching out the color just to take a quick photo and as a result I don’t feel like I was really pushing my creativity but doing a task I felt I had to get done. This is obviously the opposite of my goal with any creative project. I always want to push myself to constantly be creating so sticking with the idea of a color a day, I’ve decided to create a little home for the project at http://www.365colorproject.com, which is currently not live yet, and create a inspiration blog!
Monday through Sunday inspiration based on the days corresponding color! This includes photos I’ve taken, photos I find, art I find, movie reviews, fashion reviews, etc! I’m sure as I go and as it grows I will find new and fun ways to explore each day’s color. Can’t wait to jump into this new project.
